The property consists of a main house, a converted barn and a detached guest cottage. The main house and the barn date back to 1640. The cottage is the newest addition, built in 2015. The buildings are set in a secluded spot off the main highway, along a private road. Here the beautiful Dordogne River is just below us. There are several river views from the buildings, large salt water pool and the gardens that surround them.

Though we are located in a private setting, we are not isolated. Siorac en Perigord, our local village, is under 5 minutes away. Here you will find a grocery store, pharmacy, bakery, restaurants, golf coarse, canoe rentals and river access. The charming towns of Belves and Saint Cyprian are both less than 15 minutes from the property. Belves is a charming medieval village with shopping, restaurants and a market day on Saturdays. Saint Cyprien is another delightful village with easy access to another large grocery store, wonderful cheese shop, fabulous shops, bakeries, hot air ballooning and lovely market day on Sundays.
